Here is what you hold after the inspection
Send us the property
Put the property and your client's contact in the form. Our office will call to set it up.
The paperwork
You get a report and photos. The findings come in everyday words. Your client picks who receives it, and we send it to that list.
Report and photos reach you on inspection day. We set the visit up with the homeowner.
What the inspection covers
For a Level 2 we put a camera down the full flue, then check what we can safely get to in the attic, the crawlspace and on the roof. The chimney standard, NFPA 211, asks for that level at a sale or transfer.
We explain the findings to the homeowner at the door, so the first conversation is already done by the time the paper reaches you. If your client has more questions, they can call the office, and you do not have to translate chimney terms.
When the report has bad news
Nothing here is a government pass or fail. When a condition misses what NFPA 211 or local code asks, the report marks it for repair before safe use. The buyer may take it to the seller with a repair request, a credit ask or a re-inspection, and you go from there. The contract itself is not our area.
We do put numbers on the work. Five fixes come with a posted range. Others, like a liner, crown or damper, need a look first and get a written quote after.
What the inspection costs a client
Both levels are here for easy reference.
- Level 2 inspection
- $410
- Level 1 look
- $58
Repairs are quoted separately.
