Priced per fireplace, checked in one trip
Tell us your count
Put the address and the fireplace count in the form.
The math, in four steps
One: count your fireplaces. Two: pick Level 1 or Level 2. Three: find that price in the table. Four: multiply.
If you only want certain fireplaces checked, say which ones, and the count follows from that.
One trip for the whole property
We inspect every fireplace in a single visit, so you arrange access once. We tell whoever is on site what was found. If nobody is on site, the report carries the same plain notes, so the person who reads it later gets the same story. Owners and board members can read it without a glossary.
Level 1 looks at the parts we can see and reach. Level 2 adds a camera run down the full flue, plus whatever attic, crawlspace and roof are accessible. The chimney standard, NFPA 211, asks for the second level on a sale, after a flue fire or a quake, or if the fuel changes. If a unit has been through one of these, tell us when you write.
The report you keep
Each fireplace is listed by name, with written findings and photos. If one needs repair before safe use, you can see which and why.
Repairs are quoted in writing. Five repairs have posted price ranges. The others, like a liner, crown, damper or masonry, get a quote after the inspection. We explain each quote in plain words, so a board member without chimney know-how can follow it. To start, send us these three things.
- Who gets the report
- Address
- Number of fireplaces
Price for each fireplace
Pick Level 1 or Level 2, then multiply its price by your fireplace count.
- Level 2 flue scan
- $410
- Sweep visit
- from $235
- Level 1 visual check
- $58
The sweep row is a separate job from the inspection.
